Compare the fit before the upgrade

Roborock Qrevo S Pro vs Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 vs eufy X10 Pro Omni

A robot vacuum should fit your home and your routine—not just a specification sheet. Compare the dock, tank access, carpets and ongoing care before deciding which features are worth paying for.

Which one deserves a closer look?

Use these as research directions, not tested recommendations. Start by writing down the place for the dock, the lowest furniture you want cleaned under, and the rugs that must stay dry. If one of those checks fails, a higher advertised suction number does not solve the problem.

Roborock: check the service space

The published dock height is about 52 cm. Its removable base is worth examining if cleaning the dock is a concern. Confirm tank removal and the exact setup instructions before choosing a location.

Dreame: check the bundle

Gen 2 lists an extending side brush and mop. The automatic solution dispenser is a separate purchase in the base specification; do not confuse the base kit with a promotional bundle.

Compare the full purchase →

eufy: check above the station

Its station is about 46 cm tall, but eufy recommends 85 cm of total available height for operation and tank maintenance. A low shelf can therefore rule out an otherwise compact-looking spot.

Check the drawing, not just the numbers. Dreame’s specification line does not label its axes. eufy’s Canadian retail FAQ and its support page also present dock dimensions differently; the table above follows the dedicated support page. Ask the manufacturer to confirm the current regional unit and whether dimensions include the fitted ramp before committing to a close-fitting space. We do not treat these numbers as cabinet-building measurements.

A low station can still need a tall opening

Imagine an open shelf with 60 cm between floor and underside. A 46 cm station looks as though it leaves 14 cm spare. For the X10 Pro Omni, that is still 25 cm below eufy’s recommended 85 cm total available height. That 85 cm is measured from the floor; it is not an extra 85 cm above the station.

Original diagram using eufy’s published height guidance. Schematic, not a product photograph or installation approval. Other models need their own clearances.

eufy’s support guidance also advises against putting this station in a wardrobe because moisture can make it damp. Its linked manual shows 0.5 m to each side and 1.5 m in front for placement. Those are X10 instructions, not universal rules for every dock. See the manufacturer manual, section 2.2.

Before ordering, outline the station on the floor and practise the whole service movement: reach the lid, lift a tank vertically, carry it to the sink and return it. Check the power outlet and the robot’s route without putting cables across the walking space. Follow the selected model’s current instructions for the actual location.

Features to compare without declaring a winner

Feature sources: Roborock, Dreame and Anker/eufy. Mop lift does not prove a particular rug will stay dry; confirm the carpet restrictions and app strategy for your flooring.

The Pa figures are not a standardized cleaning score in this comparison. We did not run the same debris, carpet, edge or obstacle test on all three machines. Treat suction as one specification, then investigate the brush design and floor restrictions. Similarly, obstacle sensing should not be treated as a promise that every cable, toy or pet mess will be avoided.

For connected features, check the current app, account requirements, Wi-Fi compatibility and privacy settings for your region. Read the feature footnotes before paying for future software promises. Roborock’s page, for example, describes Matter support while its footnote refers to an upcoming update; verify current availability rather than assuming a promised update is already installed.

What you will still clean and refill

Roborock marketing artwork, not our teardown. The advertised hot-water temperature refers to the heater outlet in its footnote, not a measured mop temperature.
Dreame’s base-package artwork. Confirm the selected colour, kit and promotional extras on the actual order; a picture does not establish that an optional add-on is included.

Write the care jobs beside the model you are considering: water tanks, cleaning tray, hair around moving parts, filters, mop pads and dust bags. Look for how a component is removed and cleaned, not only whether the dock advertises “self-cleaning.” A dock that you cannot reach comfortably may make a simple weekly task frustrating.

Dreame’s FAQ explicitly says you still refill the clean-water tank and empty the used-water tank yourself. eufy’s manual lists cleaning the dirty-water tank, filter, brushes, sensors and tray. Use each model’s own schedule and approved cleaning products. Automation changes the chores; it does not eliminate every chore.

Compare a complete year, not a sale banner

Open the three Canadian product links above on the day you are ready to buy. Record the selected model, colour, base kit or bundle, and any accessory offer you actually qualify for. Prices and availability change, so this guide links to current source prices instead of displaying a price that silently becomes outdated.

Your first-year comparison worksheet
Cost lineQuestion to answer for each model
Robot and dockIs this the exact named model and new, refurbished or bundled?
Required extrasWhich parts or cleaning solution are included? Which are optional?
ConsumablesWhat do compatible bags, filters, brushes and pads cost per usable item?
Replacement planWhat does the manual recommend, and how might pets and cleaning frequency change usage?
Checkout and returnsInclude applicable tax, delivery and any return shipping or opened-product conditions.
ServiceWho handles regional warranty claims, and what happens to worn consumable parts?

For a hypothetical budget—not a quote—suppose the selected kit costs C$800, required initial supplies C$40, planned replacements C$90 and delivery C$0. That is C$930 before applicable tax, electricity and water. Repeat the same categories for every candidate. Do not add an optional upgrade merely to make a cheaper kit look incomplete.

A useful premium is one that solves your actual constraint: a care task you struggle with, a needed floor strategy, or a feature confirmed for your layout. Paying more for a feature you cannot use is different from paying more for one you will use every day. Keep the return policy with your notes so the first real run can check the assumptions you made before purchase.

Common buying questions

Which of these robot vacuums is best?

We have not tested them and cannot name an overall cleaning winner. Use the comparison to rule out a poor dock location, a mismatched carpet strategy or a maintenance routine you cannot manage, then compare the current complete prices of the remaining models.

Can I put the dock under a shelf?

Only if the specific model’s installation and maintenance requirements are met. Closed height alone is insufficient. The eufy example above shows why a 46 cm station can still need 85 cm of total available height. Do not apply that exact requirement to another model.

Are the product pictures real?

They are official manufacturer product artwork sourced from the linked listings, including marketing diagrams. We have not reconstructed the products with AI or photographed or tested them ourselves. Enlarge each image for details and use the exact model name when checking the seller.

Do prices update automatically here?

No. The price buttons open the source listing for its current price and availability. We do not fetch live prices, promise a discount or guarantee stock in your area.
